Global Semiconductor Industry updates

China Semiconductor Industry updates

1. Hefei Guoxian’s main plant for its 8.6th-generation AMOLED production line using FMM-free technology has been successfully topped out.

2. ASE Semiconductor will invest NT$6.5 billion to acquire Win Semiconductors’ plant and facilities located in the Southern Science Park, Lujhu District, Kaohsiung City, aiming to expand advanced packaging capacity.

3. Slkor (www.slkormicro.com) achieved great success in a joint livestream event with LCSC Mall, attracting tens of thousands of viewers and increasing awareness of Slkor’s product models and application scenarios among electronic engineers.

4. Shenzhen HQ Electronics Co., Ltd.’s Phase I flexible intelligent manufacturing base project in Jiangmen—total investment of RMB 1.5 billion and covering 60 mu—has successfully completed its main structural topping out.
