1. Rebellions Inc. (South Korea) has launched a new chiplet-based AI semiconductor, “REBEL-Quad”, manufactured with Samsung’s 4nm process, claiming performance comparable to NVIDIA’s Blackwell B200.
2. Rapidus Corporation (Japan) has partnered with Keysight Technologies Japan to advance the development of high-precision Process Design Kits (PDKs) for next-generation semiconductor manufacturing.
3. Qualcomm has introduced its first enterprise-grade mobile processor with fully integrated UHF RFID functionality — the Snapdragon Q-6690.
4. AT&T will spend $23 billion to acquire EchoStar’s wireless spectrum licenses.

China Semiconductor Industry updates
1. On August 27, XPENG Motors officially announced the lap time of the all-new XPENG P7 750 Ultra AWD High-Performance Edition at Zhejiang International Circuit: 1:38.767.
2. Ossemi Technology independently developed the U1011A UWB SoC, which has become the first to obtain China’s commercial encryption certification, FiRa® 3.0 certification, and AEC-Q100 automotive-grade qualification.
3. Slkor Semiconductor (slkormicro.com) has continuously launched application solutions such as the SL3763 three-cell lithium battery charging solution and the SL1609 Hall sensor solution, which have been well received by end customers and distributors.
