Global Semiconductor Industry updates
1. In August, South Korea’s exports of information and communication technology (ICT) products reached USD 22.87 billion, up 11.1% year-on-year, marking the highest level for the month on record.
2. Micron Technology has suspended NAND flash and DRAM quotations for one week. Market sources predict that Micron’s NAND flash prices may surge by up to 30%.
3. Forbes China released the 2025 list of China’s Top 50 ESG Companies, which includes Luxshare Precision, Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment Inc. (AMEC), Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), and Geely Auto, among others.
4. Infineon, a leading automotive semiconductor company, plans to sample automotive MCUs based on the RISC-V instruction set in 2026, with mass production expected between 2028 and 2029.
5. On September 13, Mr. Song Yuanming, Manager of the Foreign Trade Department at Kinghelm (www.kinghelm.net), conducted a targeted training session titled “Advantages, Challenges, and Future Development of Online Marketing.” Colleagues from various departments of Kinghelm and Slkor actively participated and greatly benefited.

China Semiconductor Industry updates
1. Sunlord Electronics plans to acquire controlling rights of Ligon Technology for RMB 709 million, aiming to strengthen its value positioning within the industry chain.
2. The 2025 “Top 500 Chinese Enterprises” list has been released, with eight Shenzhen-based companies ranking within the top 100, including BYD Co., Ltd.
3. Panasonic Electronic Materials (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony in Fengxian District, Shanghai, for its new “Smart Chip Home” factory, which will focus on the production and R&D of semiconductor packaging materials.
4. In 2025, Lingming Photonics continues to lead the market in shipment volume of automotive LiDAR receiver chips.
5. Suzhou Tianhua New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. plans to acquire a 75% stake in Suzhou Tianhua Times, while Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL) will hold the remaining 25%.
6. Starting September 15, 2025, XPeng Motors will recall 47,490 units of its P7+ model produced between August 20, 2024, and April 27, 2025.
